Sales Versus Marketing

Times have changed since network market’ing was introduced to the world. We must be very careful how we approach our prospect’s, however.

Just because the profitability of network market’ing ‘is still viable d0esn&rsquo ;t mean that us’ing the same 0ld techniques that are used in the 80s ‘is not go’ing to get You the same results in the 21 st century !

Here ‘is the irony part &ndash ; while the term &lsquo ;network marketing&rsquo ; was coined, every one focuses on the first word rather than the second. In other word’s, they go around network’ing instead of market’ing !

< !----more---->

Most humans who are in network market’ing d0 not have a CLUE what market’ing ‘is all about ! They go about recruit’ing friends and family on their name list while delud’ing themselves into think’ing that they are &lsquo ;sharing&rsquo ; or &lsquo ;marketing&rsquo ; their products to people.

MYTH : Network marketers are not in sale’s, they are merely shar’ing products through other humans

TRUTH: Network marketers who d0 not have a market’ing system in place are actually in SALES.

What they are actually d0′ing ‘is that they are SELLING an idea to someone else. Whether they are sell’ing the product or the opportunity, they are try’ing to convince someone to change their mind about what they have to offer.

Remember &ndash ; Shar’ing ‘is different from selling. It ‘is totally different. If You are my friend and You are hav’ing a conversation through me right now, I would share through You about my passion for eat’ing exotic food.

When I&rsquo ;m shar’ing through you, I&rsquo ;ve no intention to SELL You exotic food (unle’ss I am gett’ing commissions the restaurant that cooks exotic food).

Get the idea ? Sell’ing ‘is different from sharing.

So the question is: How d0 I generate busine’ss without &lsquo ;SELLING&rsquo ; ?

I&rsquo ;m not say’ing that You d0 not sell any products. But what I&rsquo ;m say’ing ‘is that the approach while it comes to market’ing versus sell’ing ‘is totally different !

Take a d0ctor for example.

A d0ctor sells h’is or her services. But they d0n&rsquo ;t go around recruit’ing patients or send’ing out flyers and advertisements say’ing that they are the best gynecologist in town !

When humans go to the d0ctor, they seek the d0ctor&rsquo ;s EXPERT advice. They listen intensively to ‘every word they have to say and they will take whatever medicine they recommend. (So much different compared to network market’ing recruitment, d0n&rsquo ;t You think ?’)

The same principle applies to marketing !

Marketers sell product’s, but not in the way sales humans d0. A person who markets their busine’ss effectively ‘is a LEADER . They are EXPERTS . They d0n&rsquo ;t go around peddl’ing their wares like a sleazy salesman. They are good at market’ing themselves in such a way that they will always:

  • Find the right target market

  • Find the right humans to join their d0wnline (and their d0wnlines will listen to them and d0 what they say’)

  • NOT waste their time on the wrong humans

  • Attract the right humans to them.

  1. Hi I’m Anthos from drumltd.com and we’ve got quite the riveting collection of drum set. The exact amassment of drum kit components depends on factors like euphonious fashion, personal favouritism, pecuniary resources, and transportation options of the drummer. Cymbal, hi-hat, and tom-tom stands (if it comes with), as incredibly as bass drum pedals and drum thrones are usually pattern in most drum kits. Most mass produced drum kits are sold in rhyme of two five-piece configurations (referring to the covey of drums exclusively), which typically include a bass drum, a snare drum, two toms, and a given fell tom. The column sizes (now called ‘in ruins’ sizes) are 22” (entirely size diameter) bass drum, 14” net drum, 12” and 13” mounted toms, and a 16” planking tom. The other celebrated configuration is called “Fusion”, a notation to jazz fusion music, which most often includes a 20” (or off 22″) bass drum, a 14” net drum, and 10”, 12” mounted toms, and a 14” base tom.
